1. Warranty Coverage
A. Structural Integrity Warranty
Coverage Period: Lifetime (Residential), 20 Years (Commercial)
What It Covers:
Ensures flooring will remain free from structural defects, including delamination, warping, or splitting under normal conditions.
Covers defects in material and workmanship when properly installed according to Serennia’s guidelines.
Exclusions:
Damage caused by improper installation, subfloor issues, moisture exposure, or environmental conditions outside the recommended range (humidity between 30-50%).
B. Finish Warranty
Coverage Period: 35 Years (Residential), 10 Years (Commercial)
What It Covers:
Protects against premature wear-through of the factory-applied finish under normal use.
Exclusions:
Surface scratches, dents, scuffs, discoloration from sunlight, and damage caused by improper cleaning methods or chemical exposure.
C. Moisture Resistance Warranty (For Engineered Hardwood Only)
Coverage Period: 15 Years (Residential), 5 Years (Commercial)
What It Covers:
Resistance to moisture-related damage such as cupping or warping when installed in accordance with Serennia’s moisture control guidelines.
Exclusions:
Damage due to standing water, flooding, excessive humidity, or installation over a wet subfloor.
D. Commercial Use Warranty
Coverage Period: 10 Years
What It Covers:
Limited warranty covering wear-through and structural integrity for commercial spaces.
Exclusions:
Heavy industrial use, damage from high-impact traffic, improper maintenance, or failure to follow humidity control guidelines.
2. Warranty Conditions
For this warranty to remain valid, the following conditions must be met:
✔ Proper Installation – Flooring must be installed according to Serennia’s guidelines, including subfloor preparation and acclimation.
✔ Regular Maintenance – Routine care and cleaning must be performed using manufacturer-recommended products.
✔ Environmental Conditions – Humidity levels must be maintained between 30-50% to prevent expansion or contraction.
3. Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
🚫 Damage from improper installation, including failure to leave expansion gaps.
🚫 Scratches, dents, pet damage, or heavy furniture impact.
🚫 Water damage from spills, flooding, or excessive humidity.
🚫 Discoloration from prolonged sun exposure or fading over time.
🚫 Damage from incorrect cleaning products, waxes, or abrasive cleaners.
🚫 Flooring installed in non-recommended areas (e.g., bathrooms, outdoor spaces).
🚫 Damage due to structural movement, foundation settling, or subfloor issues.
4. Warranty Claims & Resolution
If you believe your Serennia flooring has a defect covered under this warranty:

Inspection & Review – Serennia may request an on-site inspection or additional documentation to evaluate the claim.
